Issue Inventory
(IssInv.exe) In this program, you will be able to issue items from a stocking Location to a Department. Your files will be updated immediately as you enter information into this program.
Enter information about the stocking Location and Department to which you want to issue in the top portion of the screen.
Tools - Issue Stockouts or F6. The information will appear in the grid below. If, by chance, you attempt to issue a quantity that is greater than the on hand quantity at the stocking location you have chosen, a screen will pop up telling you that there is insufficient stock on hand to fill your request. It will ask you if you want to issue those items that are available. Answer yes to do so. If you have the Stockout program activated in the System Options, Use Stockout File under the Inventory module, the quantity that was not filled will be recorded in the Stockout File and can be issued after receiving a sufficient quantity by clicking on the Tools menu and selecting Issue Stockouts or F6. If there is a sufficient quantity to issue an item that was stocked out, the items will appear in the Issue Stockouts program. Click on the line you wish to issue, and right click the mouse, a pop up box appears, click on Issue Item and another box appears displaying the Quantity to Issue, if this is correct, click OK to issue. User may also choose to Hide Item, Unhide Item or Delete Item in the Right Click mode. On the Issue Stockout screen, under Tools the user may Issue All or Issue Selected. Under View, the user may select Pick a Date using the calendar, Today, 3 Days, 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks or All to display in the grid.
To return an item to inventory the user may enter a negative quantity, which will increment the inventory amount. There is a System Option, Issue Inventory Require Memo On Return, in the Inventory module, which when set to Y (Yes) will display a popup message if a memo is not created for a negative issue.
If you are using the Lot Tracking program, a box appears displaying the Lot Number and the Quantity to Issue, if the information is correct, click the OK button. Otherwise change the information to reflect what is correct, then click OK, or Cancel if it is not correct.
In the Tools menu, the user may charge directly to an account number by selecting Charge to Full Account No or F4. Where the Department displayed, will now show as Account No. Also, the user may issue, if information is filled in by selecting Issue Item or F3. May also Issue Direct as Stock, this would allow the user to issue a Direct Type with the item cost as opposed to a normal Direct issue at zero cost. This selection will reset to off after any issue or by a change in Entity or Location.
Also, the user may change the Username within the program by selecting Change Username or F7 and a box will appear, Enter Username. Type in the new Username and then press the OK button.
Printing Pick Tickets
When you are finished issuing the inventory, select Reports then Print Pick Tickets from the applications menu. The system will run the print program to generate the pick tickets.
