Assign Users to PO Groups

(UsrToPOGroups.exe) This program may be used to assign users to the Purchase Order Buyer Groups, when utilizing the PO Group Master File.

There are 2 tabs at the bottom of the screen, By User or By PO Group, which allows the user to select how they wish to assign the users. If selecting the By User tab, all the Users (Username) will appear in the left column, all the PO Groups will appear in the right column, and in the center column is the Assigned Po Groups. Click on the selected User in the left column, then choose from the PO Groups in the right column, and press the < button to the left or double click on it to move it into the center column, Assigned PO groups. If you would like to move all the PO Groups into the Assigned PO Groups column select the << button. There is a popup Warning message to verify All selection. May also Multiselect by pressing the CTRL key and then choosing from the PO Groups column and left click on the mouse which will highlight it, continue until complete and then press the < left arrow button to move them into the center column, Assigned PO Groups.

If selecting the By PO Group tab, all the PO Groups will in the left column, all the Users appear in the right column, and in the center will be the Assigned Users. Click on the selected PO Group in the left column, then choose from the Users in the right column and move them by pressing the < button to the left into the center column or double click on the User. If you would like to move all Users to the Assigned Users column, select the << button. There is a popup Warning message to verify All selection. May also Multiselect by pressing the CTRL key and then choosing from the Users column and left click on the mouse which will highlight it, continue until complete and then press the < left arrow button to move them into the center column, Assigned Users. May also assign a Group of users by selecting the icon which displays 2 people with a yellow background. When selected, a lookup opens displaying all Groups that may be chosen. When double clicking on the Group, all Users and Assigned Users that are members of that group will be highlighted with a blue background. To move the Users to the Assigned Users column select the left (<) arrow. To remove them, use the right (>) arrow.

 

To remove Assigned Users or PO Groups from the center column, use the > button for a single User or PO Group or double click on it, or the >> button for all.

 

To assign a Default Group if a user is assigned to multiple groups, select the user in the Users column and then choose the group in the Assigned PO Groups column in the center. After choosing the group, right click on it, and a box will appear with the caption, "Set Default." Click on the box to change the Default Group column to True and set it as the default group.

 

To lookup in all grids, select the grid and then press F8 to open the lookup.

Under File, there is a Refresh selection.
