User to Equipment Class

(UsrToEquipClass.exe) Program is used to assign users to be able to view equipment classifications in the Equipment Tracking program.

 

By User

Users will be in the left column, Assigned Classification will be in the center column, and Equipment Classification will be in the right column.  Select the User which will highlight when clicked. Select from the Equipment Classification column and move by using the < arrow to the center column or double click on the Classification, or use << for all. There is a popup Warning message to verify All selection. To remove, select and use the right > arrow or double click on the Classification, or use >> for all.

 

By Equipment Classification

Equipment Classification will be in the left column, Assigned Users in the center column, and Users in the right column.  Select the Equipment Classification, which will highlight when clicked.  Select from the Users column and move by using the < arrow to the center column or double click on the User, or use << for all. There is a popup Warning message to verify All selection. To remove, select, and use the > arrow or double click on the User, or use >> for all. May also assign a Group of users by selecting the icon which displays 2 people with a yellow background. When selected, a lookup opens displaying all Groups that may be chosen. When double clicking on the Group, all Users and Assigned Users that are members of that group will be highlighted with a blue background. To move the Users to the Assigned Users column select the left (<) arrow. To remove them, use the right (>) arrow.

Under File, there is a Refresh selection.

When utilizing the Equipment Class field in Equipment Tracking, users may be limited to what classes that are viewed by a System Option, Use User to Equipment Class, in the Inventory module. When set Y (Yes), users must be assigned to an Equipment Class in the User to Equipment Class program.
