End Of Month
(EndMonth.exe) This application will enable the user to run an End of Month process for the Materials Resource Management System. When you bring up the End of Month application, you will see a table at the bottom of the screen. It will display the programs that will be executed as a part of the End of Month process. This information will have been entered into the system as a part of the End Of Day Master File. You will be able to see the following information for each program:
Click on the button marked Start End of Month. You'll only be able to click on it once to start the End of Month process. Once you begin, the button will be inoperable. Once the program is running, it will display the Start Time and the Current Program that it is executing. When it is done, it will display the End Time. If the End of Month does not run properly for some reason, you will be given an error message. If you receive an error message in End of Month, please contact Electronic Healthcare Systems for assistance.
A warning message has been added to several key input programs to warn users that the End of Month process is running or did not complete within a predetermined time frame. There are two System Options to control this EOM Occurring and AP EOM Occurring. One for Materials Management type processes, i.e. Issue Inventory and Purchase Order Control (EOM Occurring) and one for Accounts Payable type processes, i.e. Invoice Matching and Manual Voucher Entry (AP EOM Occurring).
A third system option was added to control which systems will receive a warning and whether or not the Warning System is active. The System Option is USE_EOM_WARNING. The options are:
