(Scanners.exe) First select the correct COM port in the Scanner Setup Program.
Then click on config wand, and enter in
Click Save when done
To initialize a wand:
Click Pause to ensure that the wandpoll is not scanning for wands. Click the Initialize Wand button; you will see a pop up screen
Initializing a wand sets the wands’ ID to that just typed in, as we want to make it generic, we can initialize any number of wands with the Wand ID of 0000000000 (10 zeroes – universal Wand ID) so any scanner can be downloaded from just one download station.
Enter the wand number to initialize in the box.
Click on the Scan button of the wand itself to wake it up and then click on ok
As soon as the initialize wand pop up menu has disappeared, the lights on the download station should stop flashing
Once this happens the wand is now initialized
Click on the Scan button of wand poll to start the polling process
In the Tools menu, user may select Scanner Setup, which displays the scanner wand numbers available to be scanned on this computer.
To download, click on the Scan Selected Scanner button. (The scanner will beep)
In the Events field, Time of Last Download will fill in. Click the Pause button.
