Build an ABC Analysis File

(ABCAnalysis.exe) This program is used to create an ABC Analysis File when utilizing an ABC Analysis Report for a specific Location or all Location(s).

Choose the Location(s) for Analysis using the drop down.  Select the Reporting Period (Fiscal Month to Date Receipts, Fiscal Year to Date Receipts, Last Year On Hand, or Current On Hand) using the radio button. If selecting Current On Hand the type of displayed in the System Option, Use Average Cost, from the Inventory module will be used. Enter the Percentage Breakout for A and B items (C will make up the difference).  Select the Inventory Type(s) to include in the analysis (Bill Only, Consignment, Direct, Non-Stock, reusable or Stock).

There is a check box, Update Loc ABC which will update the Location file on the report.  When ready, click the Perform ABC Analysis button.  When completed, a Confirm box asking if you would like to print the ABC Analysis now.  If you answer yes, the system will take you to the ABC Analysis Report, where you can select the Location(s) and print the report.

The formula is derived from the individual items purchased in the location, based on the percentage selection of the A and B items with C = 100 – (A + B).
