(IssueABCAnalysis.exe) This program performs an ABC Analysis based on item usage rather than item purchase. The user may choose the Location for the analysis by clicking on the line in the Choose Locations for Analysis field. The user may also use the drop down scroll bar to locate it or may choose all by clicking on [Click here to select all]. Select the Reporting Period (either current Fiscal Year to Date Issues or Last Fiscal Year Issues) by clicking on the radio button. Select Percentage Breakout for A and B items. Percentage must be entered in whole numbers. The Default settings for these are listed under the System Option, Percent A Item, Percent B Item, in the Materials Management module. Choose the Inventory Type, either Bill Only, Consignment, Direct, Reusable or Stock, by checking the appropriate box. There is a check box, Update Loc ABC which will update the Location file on the report.
When ready, click the Perform ABC Analysis button. You will see a progress bar processing the data until complete. When complete, a confirm box appears asking if you would like to print the ABC Analysis report now? If you answer Yes, the program will take you to the ABC Analysis Report based on Issues by Location.
The formula is derived from the individual item usage in the location, based on the percentage selection of the A and B items with C = 100 – (A + B).
