Automatic Transfer Inventory

(AutoTran.exe) This program will allow the user to transfer inventory from one inventory Location to another automatically.
First select the Location from which you want to transfer from (From Transfer) on the left. You can choose to include items with a reorder of zero or add items to the pick slip by checking the box next to it. There is a check box to allow a Two Stage Transfer, which you will need to receive in using the Auto Transfer Receive program.
Once you have chosen the Location for which your want your inventory transferred to (To Location), select (F2) or go to Tools and then select Clear Transfer File, then run Calculate Transfer Quantities (F3), which will display the items recommended for transfer. You may add items to the list by selecting Add Item or (F4). When finished select Create Transfer (F6) to process the transfer.

There is another System Option, AutoTran Rights, under the Purchasing module, which will require rights to specific functions in Automatic Transfer. These rights, Can Create Transfers and Can Calculate Quantities, as set in the User Master File under the SNC, Stock Reorder, Returns, Auto Transfer tab will allow the user to utilize functions under the Tools menu depending on the checked field. If Create Transfers is checked, users may access the Create Transfers or F6 function under Tools. If Can Calculate Quantities is checked then Clear Transfer File or F2, Calculate Transfer Quantities or F3 and Add Items or F4 can be accessed.

There is a System Option, Round Down Auto Transfer, under the Inventory module which will determine if the system will round down calculations in determining the quantity to transfer.

Under View, the user may choose to View Prior Log Files of previous log files that were created. Also, may choose to display the Values based on the To Locations Default UOI (Unit of Issue). This will display a set of fields similar to the From Location view based on Default Unit of Issue. The user may also choose to display transfers by Show All Users.
