Process Stock Requisitions

(ReqIssue.exe) Once a requisition has been through all necessary reviews and has all needed approvals, it is ready for processing (see Review Stock Requisitions and Review Non-Stock Requisitions or Process Non-Stock Requisitions.) When you enter the program, you may choose one of 3 tabs:
Select Location for all tabs, (The Location will only display if there are items requested)
Buyer Order Days, which defaults to No Order Days or select department Order Days and specify.
Department, select Entity, then choose the Department and click Add to add to the list below.  Also, you may Delete or Clear List as well.
Req. No., select Req No using the drop down.  Either Add, Delete or Clear List.
Before pressing Process check to see that the number of Records ready to Process is correct.  After Processing an error log is written and can be reviewed.

When you bring up this application, the user must decide on the Location in which to process stock requisitions. Use the drop down menu in the Location field to make your choice. The system will display only Locations with available requisitioned items to be processed. The application will inform you how many records are ready for processing. If there are none, the Location box will display with "No Requisitions to Process."
If you want to print pick slips, be sure to click on the Pick Slips box. Click on the Process box to begin the procedure. The system will let you know when all available records have been processed. When using the Lot Tracking system, items are issued from the lot by the earliest Expiration Date. Lot Numbers and quantities are then printed on the pick ticket.

The program will allow more than one user to open it, but it will not allow more than one user to process at a time. If a subsequent user attempts to process while another is processing a popup screen will display with the username who is currently processing. The user may choose to Auto process, by means of a check box, so when the other user has completed processing and is available the system will automatically start to process the requisitions. Otherwise, when the current processor has completed, a different screen will display to alert the user that the other has finished processing and that they may manually process their requisitions.

There is a System Option, Auto Print Req PickTick, in the Requisitions module, which will automatically print the Requisition Pick Tickets. This requires that the System Option is set Y (Yes) and that Auto Print Requisition Pick Tickets, (AutoReqPickTick.exe) program is running. Select the Location, and when the Process button is pressed in the Process Stock Requisition from the Buyer/Order Days tab, the Auto Print Requisition Pick ticket program will display briefly until complete and then prints the pick tickets. A Confirm screen will display to allow the user to view an error log.

There is a System Option, Send Processed Email, in the Requisitions module, which will send a "Processed" notification e-mail to the user who originally activated the requisition. This will be based on the proper selection in the System Option. The user must have a valid e-mail address set up in the User Master File on the User Info tab, to receive this notification.

In the Tools menu, the user may elect to View Prior Error Logs or View Prior Processed Logs.
