Clear Physical Inventory

(PhysClr.exe) This program will allow you to remove all previous information from the Physical Inventory File. Be very sure that you want to clear the file before you run this program. When you bring up the application, select the Location using the drop down and Press "Clear Physical" there will be a warning:
Warning - this will clear the Physical File for location ___. Do you wish to continue?
It is imperative that you realize the implications of running this program before you run it. If you are certain that you want to clear the file, Answer Yes. A message will affirm that the file has been cleared. When attempting to clear an inventory if the location has not been processed a popup message will display, "Warning: There are unprocessed records. Do you wish to continue? Yes or No." The user may then choose the appropriate action.

The data that was cleared will be batched to provide an audit trail for that information. The information may be viewed using the Physical Inventory History Inquiry. There are also 2 System Options in the Inventory module associated with this process: Physical Inventory Purge Days, which is the number of days to keep information in the Physical Inventory History table, and Physical Inventory Batch No, which is next batch number to be assigned.
