Change Bin, Min and Max

(BinMinMx.exe) This program will allow you to change the bin number, minimum on hand quantity, maximum on hand quantity, reorder point and reorder quantity for an item in a particular stocking location. First, choose the stocking location by using the drop down menu in the Location field. Select the Material Code or the Material Code Description by typing it in that field or by using the lookup function. This may also be done in the Material Code Description field. The Unit of Issue and current On Hand quantity of the item will appear.

• Bin refers to the bin number in the stocking location where this Material Code is located.
• Min refers to the on hand minimum of an item based on the lowest unit of issue.
• Max refers to the on hand maximum of an item based on the lowest unit of issue.
• ROP refers to the Reorder Point. This is the point that Stock Reorder, Transfer and RSL programs will recommend reorder based on the On Hand being at or below this point... It is based on the lowest unit of issue.
• ROQ refers to the Reorder Quantity. The system will order this amount of the item when the reorder point is reached. It is based on the lowest unit of issue.

Once you have chosen a Material Code, select Edit then you may change any of the above. The current Bin, Min, Max, Reorder Point and Reorder Quantity of that item will appear in the fields. You may type the new Bin, Min, Max, Reorder Point and/or Reorder Quantity in the respective fields. If any of these fields is already assigned, you may change it or eliminate it. Use the Tab key to move among the fields. Save after you are done by clicking on the Save icon, CTRL+S, or File then Save. The system will be updated immediately to reflect any changes.
