Unit of Measure Master File

(UnitOfMeasure.exe) This file is populated with industry standard units of measure, but the user may add others that may be needed or delete those that are not needed. The user will be able to enter the unit of measure which you will use in combination with your Inventory Master File. Select New under the File menu, clicking the New icon or CTRL+N. First, enter the Unit of Measure Code, up to 3 characters, and then the description of the unit of measure. Click the Save icon, File then Save or CTRL+S. When creating a new Unit of Measure the active box will be checked. May not set a Unit of Measure to be Inactive if it is currently being used in either as a Unit of Issue or Unit of Purchase.
