Room Bed Master File

(RoomBed.exe) This program is used for scanning patient Room and Bed information.

To add or delete a Unit, click on the ADD/DELETE button, enter the new Unit and click the Add Unit button.  To delete select the Nursing Unit in the left column, then click the Delete button.  A warning displays alerting the user that all Rooms and Beds for that Unit will be deleted.  Answer yes if true.

To create Rooms and Beds for a Nursing Unit, select the Nursing Unit from the drop down.  Click the Create Rooms & Beds button, a message appears that the system will delete all Rooms and Beds from the Unit (This will remove all previous Room and Bed information for this unit.  If you answer yes, a box appears asking Number of Rooms and Number of Beds.  Enter the amounts in those fields and the system will create them. Click OK.

To add or remove an individual Room to an existing Nursing Unit, click File then New, CTRL+N or the New icon to add, then select the Unit, enter the Room then Save.  To remove, click the Edit icon, select the Unit, the Room and Bed, then the Delete icon.
