RSL Count
(RSLCount.exe) This program will allow the user to manually count the inventory in your Remote Stocking Locations. First, select the RSL, enter it in the RSL # field, or use the lookup function to find it. In the table below, all of the associated Material Codes and Descriptions, plus more detail about each, will appear.
The system will default to the first available Material Code in that field. If you do not want to work with this Material Code, you may use the lookup function to find the one you want, or you can find it in the table and click on it to select it. The detail pertaining to that material code will appear in the fields above including:
At this time, type in the On Hand quantity in that field. The on hand quantity in the table below will change to reflect your new count. When your cursor is in the On Hand field, you can use the arrow keys to select a Material Code. You can also use CTRL+Page Up to move to the top and CTRL+Page Down to move to the bottom of the available material codes.
Move on to the next Material Code for the RSL until you are finished. You can check Add Item to Slips, and they will be flagged to print the next time you print pick slips. When the current RSL is completed, select Tools, Process RSL or (F3). When Process RSL is selected, a screen will appear which will allow the user to choose the output method before processing: to Create PO’s, Create Issues, Create Pick Tickets or Use Order Days and enter the Days, by checking the appropriate box for all, one or in a combination. If Create PO’s was selected, after processing the Release PO screen will appear and the method of Release may be chosen. There is a System Option, Show Already On Order, under the Remote Stocking Locations module. When set to Y (Yes) after processing an RSL, a Confirm screen will display asking if the user wishes to view a log file containing items that were previously On Order. Then you can select the next RSL with which you want to work. The system will note the reduced inventory levels in your RSL's, and you will be able to generate pick slips to replace them. If the System Option, Create RSL Stockout in the Remote Stocking Location module is activated, Stockouts will be created. There is another System Option associated with the RSL Count program, RSL Count Set On Hand To Par, which will determine how the On Hand will be set when issuing.
In the Tools menu, user may select to View Prior Log Files.
Under the View menu, may choose to display in the grid by All Stock Types, Only Non-Stock or Only Stock.
