Preference List Master

(PrefList.exe) The program is used to build or maintain preference lists. On the Header tab, click on the New icon, File then New on the Applications menu or CTRL+N and then select the Procedure or use the lookup, select the Doctor or use the lookup. Enter a memo if applicable.

On the Detail tab, select New, enter the Material Code or use the lookup. Select the Location using the drop down, then select the Category or use the lookup (if applicable). May choose the Unit of Issue (will default to the Lowest Unit of Issue) and enter the Quantity, then Save, CTRL+S or Save in the Applications menu. May choose to Don’t Issue using the check box. Continue adding items until complete.

Under Tools, may access the Universal Maintain Preference Cards program. Enter the Procedure or All Procedures and Doctor or All Doctors, then press the Filter button. Procedures should then display in the Left column. Select the Location, then enter the Material Code, then the Description will display. Choose a Category if necessary, enter the Quantity and Unit of Issue. May check the Available in Room, Supply Type or Don’t Issue. Under Select Action, may choose Add to All Preference Cards, Add to Selected Preference Cards (from the list on the left side – may select by clicking on the procedure and pressing the CTRL button), Remove from All Preference Cards, or Remove from Selected Preference Cards (from the list on the left side – may select by clicking on the procedure and pressing the CTRL button). Press Add button to effect the change. When completed press the Close button.

Also, under Tools, Update Glove/Prep for all procedures may be selected to update the physician’s records.
