The Help files included with the system are designed to assist the user to navigate the system and to answer your questions about the system. Help is an option in every application's menu in the system. To access the Help File, click on Help on the Toolbar of the Main Menu or any Application, or press ALT+H. This will open a screen that contains the terms Contents, Index and About. If you select Contents or Index, this will open the EHS Help File. The Help File has two panes; on the left is the Navigation pane, which contains the Contents, Index or Search display and on the right is the Topic pane, which contains the default help page or displays the topic selected from the Navigation pane.
The Help pane is divided into two sections, EHS Materials Resource Management System Help and Modules. By clicking on the plus sign (+) preceeding the name of the section, opens the sub section of topics. When you click on the sub section title or term (Denoted by a page), the pane on the right displays information relating to the topic selected. To close the section click on the minus sign (-). If there are bold underlined (linked) topics contained within the pane you may click on them to obtain further information about the underlined topic. There may also be underlined _ _ _ words (Glossary Terms) that may be clicked on and a pop up box will display the definition.
The EHS Materials Resource Management System Help section contains information and instructions relating to the system and is in three sections: Materials Management Help which has general instructions regarding the Help files and information about Electronic Healthcare Systems. Technical Support contains information about how to contact our Technical support staff via our Fax Back program and a form to send if the situation is necessary. There is also a guide to what information is required to investigate a problem, so as to avoid unnecessary phone calls. Basic Information contains general information, navigational tools and helpful hints regarding the system that are useful to new users.
The Modules section in the navigational pane is intended to mirror the Modules in the EHS Main Menu. It contains sub sections by the Module name (Accounts Payable System, Contracts, etc.), then sub divided by Applications, Inquiries and Reports, and the programs that are contained within those sections.
